Animals and Plants Creating Food and Materials
Animals and plants are very important to us as they help us to create food and materials for clothing and shelter.
Animals: Cows
We use cows to produce milk. We can use the milk to create all diffrent types of food like cheese and ice cream.

Plants: Cotton Plant
Activity One
Discuss with the class first of all the process of milk.
Students are to draw a picture sequence showing the process for milking a cow. Complete this in your Technology book.
Extension work: Write sentences about each step in the process under the pictures.
Teachers: Walk around classroom and observe work completed and check students work.
We pick the cotton of the plant and it is turned into materials. From the materials we can make clothes and blankets.
